Label Information

Label and tag stock is available in a wide variety of materials and sizes. Once you have determined what kind of material your label or tag requires, you need to determine the size. Standard sizes are always less expensive than custom sizes, although that difference is not as noticeable at large volumes.

To shop for labels online, please click one of the links below.

If you need custom labels, please contact us directly for a quote. You may also contact us directly if you have special requirements for adhesives, either permanent or removable.

Two main types of labels are used for Bar Code printers:

Direct thermal Direct thermal labels are specially treated to turn dark when heat is applied. If you need custom labels, please contact us directly for a quote. You may also contact us directly if you have special requirements for adhesives, either permanent or removable.

Thermal Transfer Thermal transfer labels are used in printers that use a ribbon. The ribbon used is dependant upon the surface of the label and media type. The type of material used for the label is different depending on the kind of application, temperatures, wear factors, etc.

Hospital wrist band/identification: Hospital needs for patient and staff identification have changed significantly due to the new HIPAA guidelines. Printing Bar Codes and other information directly onto wristbands or other custom labels makes identification much easier and more accurate.
