At IBF Group, we deal directly with the card manufacturers in order to get the best quality and prices. Let us know what your needs are, so we can provide you with the best solution.

The sheer number of options available for ID cards make online ordering cumbersome. Instead, please call or e-mail us to discuss your order to ensure that you receive the best cards for your needs.

Learn More About ID Card Options

Card materials Most ID badges are made of PVC, usually in plain white. If the badge will be exposed to very low temperatures (such as for ski resort season passes) or you need extra flexibility, you can also order a PVC/polyester blend card.

Card sizes Standard cards come in four sizes, but most card printers can only use the two most common: CR-80 (2.114” by 3.362”) or CR-79 (2.051” by 3.303”). CR-90 (3.37” x 2.13”) and CR-100 (2.625” by 3.875”) size cards are available for some printers.

Card thickness Both PVC and blended cards come in several thicknesses from 10 mil to 60 mil. A standard CR-80 card is 30 mils thick, about the same thickness as most credit cards.

Color Blank cards come in a wide variety of colors and even some metallic finishes, although white is the most commonly used. (Card size is CR-80)

Specialized options. You can add a magnetic stripe, smart card, or proximity chip (RFID) for most cards.
